Why Faculty of Engineering & Technology
Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FOE) is one of the two faculties available in DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia. Its main objective is to educate the next generation technologists and leaders by directly supporting the University’s vision and mission.
The faculty has strong collaboration with DRB-HICOM group’s subsidiaries, which benefits students in the form of high quality learning experiences and real industrial experience blended into the syllabus of the academic programmes.
The faculty offers a comprehensive range of foundation, undergraduate degrees, diploma and postgraduate programmes in the following engineering and technology areas: Automotive, Mechanical, Industrial Design, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Safety & Health and Manufacturing. The academic programmes have been designed to foster graduates with vital aspects such as hands-on skills, innovation, critical thinking and professionalism within their chosen field. All programmes under the faculty have fulfilled its obligation and accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
